If it wasn’t obvious, we have a passion for all things sweet. Give us a cookie, some candy - or our beloved cupcakes, and we’ll be content for the rest of the day. Our friends over at MPLS.TV caught onto this - and followed us on one of our weekly adventures hunting for the perfect sugar high.

Can robots feel love?
That Stephen Hawking-esque question brings the geek out in in us here at Twincy. And makes us think of our favorite design store.
ROBOTlove has been bringing design to the masses for 5 years from their location in Uptown. A tastemaker in the local arts and design community, the crew at ROBOTlove has created a community around good design, bringing events, gallery shows and...
There’s a time and a place for a good beer.
This weekend, a parking lot in downtown Minneapolis was just that place.
City Pages’ Minneapolis Beerfest has been a summer event for the past 18 years. The 2010 version featured a bunch of great brews, and The Red Chair just had to be there.
06.06.10 : Foxy Falafel at Kingfield Farmers Market
Twincy TV visits the newest sensation in market food: Foxy Falafel’s Pedal Powered Smoothies.
Think biking and smoothie making. Combined.
Foxy’s stand features fresh, locally sourced falafel and now, the newest addition: the smoothie machine.
You can find Foxy Falafel at the Kingfield Market, Uptown Market and Northest Market...
Mixed Views On Repainting Of First Ave. Stars →
Who SHOULD get new stars? Solid Gold? Hold Steady? Nick Gunz?
Suggestions? We’d love to see ‘em!
stuffaboutminneapolis:
If you’ve recently driven down First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, you’ve probably noticed a little repair work going on.
Not on the street itself, but on the signature, eye-catching nightclub. The stars painted on the exterior of the building take it from...

We just couldn’t resist.
A firkin keg of Fulton Beer’s Sweet Child of Vine IPA, a patio party at Common Roots Cafe, and a chance to chat with the men behind Minneapolis’ own beer. It was too much. We had to go.
The firkin was brilliant. An intriguing flavor change from their standard version of their IPA, the beer was thick like apple cider, but with all the great hoppiness...
So, we here at Twincy love tequila. Well. Sort of.
See, before tonight we thought of tequila as more of a frat boy beverage than something us sophisticates (ahem. kidding. really.) enjoy. In truth, it reminds us too much of college nights spent passed out on couches. And mornings spent chowing pancakes and popping Tylenol.
So it was with great surprise that we were BLOWN away by some amazing...
MN Craft Beer Week Episode 2: IPA
We at Twincy (heart) beer.
And in honor of MN Craft Beer Week, we’ve decided to document our drinking adventures.
Today is dedicated to the IPA. Blue Nile is serving a killer IPA flight menu today for $10. Tonight at Stub and Herbs Flat Earth Brewery will be on all 32 tap handles showing off some innovative beer concepts.
Should be fun.
Tomorrow: Where...
Yep. More info about MN Craft Beer Week (for that matter, American Craft Beer Week).
So, we’re making some movies about our beer journey this week. Kind of like a log of our hops consumption.
We hope you enjoy.
